Exhaust Lagging
Hard Lagging is when the insulation material is directly attached to your free issue pipework or duct by the means of micro spot welding.
The process involves the insulation material being wrapped directly around a pipe/duct etc. A metallic skin is then micro spot welded in position to secure and seal the insulation material in place.
The metallic skin also acts as part of the thermal barrier by providing additional heat resistance.
The insulation material we use is proven to be far more effective than any ceramic coating or exhaust wrap.
