Heat Shields

Heat Shields & Blankets

Heat Shields are typically used when an application requires a removable insulation system to either allow easy accessibility to the component being insulated or for components which require a replaceable insulation method.

The construction of a typical heat shield consists of the insulation material being sandwiched between two metallic skins which are subsequently welded together to seal the insulation material in place.

Eyelets are welded onto the outside of the metallic skin which provides a lacing method to attach the shields together.

Due to the flexibility of the metallic skin and insulation material, very complex geometry can be created, therefore enabling all components which require insulation to be fully protected.
